UNDERSTANDING
LISTENING
The student can understand
phrases and the highest frequency vocabulary related to areas of most immediate
personal relevance (for example, very basic personal and family information,
shopping, local area, employment). He can catch the main point in short, clear,
simple messages and announcements.
UNDERSTANDING
READING
The student can read very
short, simple texts. He can find specific, predictable information in simple
everyday material such as advertisements prospectuses, menus and timetables and
also short simple personal letters/emails.
SPEAKIG:
SPOKEN INTERACTION
The student can communicate
in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information
on familiar topics and activities. He can handle very short social exchanges, even though he can’t usually understand enough to keep the
conversation going himself.
SPEAKING:
SPOKEN PRODUCTION
The student can use a series
of phrases and sentences to describe in simple terms his family and other
people, living conditions, his educational background and his present or most
recent job.
WRITING
The student can write short,
simple notes and messages relating to matters in areas of immediate need. He
can write a very simple personal letter, for example thanking someone for something.
INDICATORS
- The student understands and expresses his personal interests and preferences
on different aspects of everyday life
- The student describes his skills and hobbies and relates them to the activities
he does in his free time
- He identifies and uses expressions to describe his likes with respect to music,
sports, hobbies
- He describes skills and talents to perform certain activities
- He recognizes and employs vocabulary to describe personality types
- He participates in conversations that talk about leisure activities or
hobbies and the frequency with which they are performed
